 Dogs (and maybe cats) seen on Valencia Street

   We have many dogs (and a few cats) that cruise by 16th & Valencia Streets.   They are all too cute to ignore,  so we took some pictures.   

 

   This is our friend Baby Boy.   His owner cruises by on his scooter almost every day to say "Hi!".    You can often see Baby Boy sitting in a miniature lawn chair of his own kicking back in front of K & H Liquor or across the street by Love Story Yoga, next door to Manny's Cafe. 

     Adorable!   Especially after a nice haircut so you can see his cute little eyes of love!

 This little gem is named Pearl.   

   She was unfortunately born with a leg defect that renders one of her hind legs, useless.  She is never in pain but could likely use surgery to remove the bum leg.     

    We know several dogs who come by that only have three limbs and they run around quite happy!    

    Someday our group would like to see about starting some kind of GoFundMe account, to get this baby an operation.   

   She looks "lame" (no pun intended) and shy but, she loves to play feisty with other dogs and humans in a loving way, just the way most dogs and puppies do.     She loves excitement!

June 19, 2021 - 

   Unless I'm mistaken,  this is one of our favorite dogs that comes to visit our Safety Team when they are at their post at 16th & Valencia Streets. 

    He is a Ham!

His name is Yuma.    His owner is an avid skater named Nelson.

 

 

 

 

   I believe you can go to Youtube and find Nelson doing mini-videos with his beloved Yuma!    Maybe you can search for his name and his dog's name on Youtube to find his videos.

   If we have time, we'll put links to his stuff on Youtube here.
