Clean Cut Man Attacks Elders by Surprise, 16th and Valencia Street Area

- The clean cut man seen in these photos was seen hitting an elderly woman from behind with his right hand, knocking her down to the ground in front of Panchita's Restaurant, 3091 16th Street, at 1:55pm on Sunday, October 9 ,2022.   In the Mission District of San Francisco, California, around the Valencia Street Area.

Another elderly resident says he recognizes this man as the same one who attacked him, by surprise about four times in the past year.   The elder says he was last attacked by this man while walking south on Valencia Street, towards 16th Street, in front of the Manny's Bar and Cafe Parklet. 

 

 This man has also had altercations with the staff of a local establishment 

located in the 16th Street and Valencia Street Area.  

 

A safety patrol member confronted this man and videotaped the attack 

on the elderly woman last Sunday afternoon, saying the young looking 

man appeared to have no care or regard for having just belted the elderly 

woman, in the back of the head.   

 

He just started walking faster to get away from the scene of his crime.  

 

The elderly victim who was screaming at this assailant and following 

him west, up 16th Street; came back to the corner and said she would 

call the police after she walks back down to her friend, who was also 

attacked, to see if she is alright.  

WARNING!   Do NOT walk around the neighborhood with your eyes on your phone and text devices.  Do NOT walk around -- unaware of your surroundings.    

  We have predators and pick pockets in the area just waiting for you to be caught off guard, so they can attack you, in broad daylight.

     This man will hit you from behind, as he passes you or hit you by surprise, face to face, without warning.  He dresses well and looks harmless, but he is not. 

     Described as being approximately 25 to 35 years old, about 5'-9" to 5'-11" tall, slim build, short hair, clean shaven face, approximately 150-180lbs, light to medium dark skinned, african american male, wearing green and yellow hoodie, dark pants, white gym shoes, carrying cell phone in left hand, uses right hand to swing at and hit elders from behind, as they pass by.   Possibly carries Pepper Spray or WEAPON in his Right Hoodie Pocket.  He is "in control" and appears experienced at carrying out his Surprise Assaults and slipping away rapidly,  without warning or emotions or nervousness.   May be responsible for many similar assaults in the area, for the past year or more.

    Known to be walking alone north and south on Valencia Street and east and west on 16th Street, crossing the intersection of 16th & Valencia Streets, frequently.
